Join a free, StopWaste-hosted webinar to hear from three innovative services already operating in the Bay Area that make reusable foodware a sustainable, cost-saving option for restaurants, cafeterias, events, and other food service operations.

Celebrating 75 years of supporting the community
75th anniversary for the Chamber
The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, one of the most engaging and successful chambers in the Bay Area, is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2021. Beginning this month, the chamber will be commemorating the occasion with a variety of captivating stories, news articles, and reflections from community leaders.
"I remember the 1980’s as the decade that the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce really came into its own. Carol Ann Montgomery, Frank Capilla and I all served as presidents of the Chamber from 1983 through 1985. The Chamber hired its first professional manager in Debra Strong and then Scott Raty. In those years we set a goal for membership development and grew the Chamber to 1,000 members. This was a remarkable achievement made possible by the approval and development of Hacienda Business Park and the Stoneridge Mall."
-Marty Inderbitzen, 1983 Board Chair

Welcome New Members
Congratulations to these new members that have recently joined the Chamber

The pandemic may be waning, but local businesses are still teetering. To address this challenge, the East Bay cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and the Town of Danville, have partnered with Visit Tri-Valley (VTV) to launch an unprecedented regional campaign to drive spending in local businesses. Dubbed “To Tri-Valley with Love,” the campaign asks residents and visitors alike to spend at least $25 per week at local businesses instead of online and in big-box stores. Read more here.

The City of Pleasanton is always looking for innovative ways to help our businesses thrive and now more than ever, our business community needs help to reactivate and recover from the effects of the pandemic. We recently launched a Savings Pass through a partnership with Visit Tri-Valley and Tri-Valley cities. To add to Pleasanton's business support and promotion efforts, we’re excited to introduce Gift Pleasanton, a citywide e-gift card program. Read more here.
