Zone 7 Free Little Library
|
Girl Scout Troop 31253 unveiled a new Zone 7 Little Free Library at a ribbon cutting ceremony last week in Pleasanton. Little Free Libraries offer free books to anyone in the community, promoting reading and sharing. The literature in the Zone 7 Little Free Library will highlight the importance of water, shed light on today’s water issues and provide water-saving resources for the community. Destination Strategic Plan Overview
|
Visit Tri-Valley, the Destination Marketing Organization for Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and the Town of Danville, California, in conjunction with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, is beginning an exciting Destination Strategic Planning process with a focus on a potential new regional multi-use venue.
The goal of this plan is to develop strategies that help further develop a vibrant visitor economy while also enhancing the quality of life for residents. The Destination Strategic Plan will be a road map that guides the area’s tourism efforts for years to come. Our collaborative process is being facilitated by the Tourism & Destination Advisory practice at JLL; a global consulting group focused on long-term destination planning and venue development. The Destination Strategic Planning process will be carried out in four phases and is expected to take 10 months.

A program to develop community leaders
|
Leadership Pleasanton was created by the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce in 1988, and has produced more than 800 graduates in its 30-plus years. In September of each year, around 30 individuals from local businesses, professional, government and service organizations as well as City of Pleasanton residents begin participating in nine, monthly, day-long sessions, culminating in a graduation in May. Participants have the opportunity to go behind the scenes with current leaders in the community to learn what makes Pleasanton work. The Leadership Pleasanton program is committed to the betterment of our community and is open to everyone. Learn more online here.

The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce annual golf outing returns to Callippe Preserve Golf Course on Friday, September 29, 2023. This is the Chamber's one true fundraising event of the year, featuring a fun-filled afternoon of golf, great food, drinks and fantastic prizes. It's a great opportunity to have some fun while promoting your business, networking, and making new contacts. Open to everyone, whether you golf or not. Pleasanton 2025 Forum Meetings

On the second Wednesday of the odd-numbered months at 12:00 p.m., the Chamber brings stakeholders together to focus community resources, time and talent to achieve greater understanding of issues, obstacles and opportunities related to Pleasanton 2025: A Community Vision.
Meetings are held in a hybrid format and open to everyone in the community, in-person at the chamber at 777 Peters Avenue, Pleasanton or virtually via Zoom. Register in advance for the Zoom link here.
