First Tee Tri-Valley, building game changers, learning character and life skills through the game of golf, is set to host the chamber's June Networking Mixer on Wednesday, June 8 at 5:00 p.m.

Please note - this is an outdoor event. First Tee Tri-Valley is located at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, inside the horse track. Enter off of Pleasanton Avenue – Main Gate. Once through the main gate, please wait at the stoplight before proceeding through the one-way tunnel to the First Tee Tri Valley. Networking mixers are a benefit of chamber membership, and are free for chamber members to attend. Prospective members can attend one mixer for a $25 fee in order to evaluate the benefit of chamber membership. Contact Dawn Wilson if you are a prospective member.

To limit the impact of increasing COVID-19 cases on hospitalizations, on June 2, 2022, Alameda County health officials announced that masks will be required in most indoor public settings beginning 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022. This Order does not apply to the City of Berkeley, which is an independent Local Health Jurisdiction. The Alameda County Health Officer continues to monitor COVID cases and hospitalizations to determine when this Order can be lifted safely.

Alameda County will not require masking in K-12 school settings through the end of the 2021-22 school year, but masking is still strongly recommended. Masks will be required in all other children and youth settings, including childcare, summer school, and youth programs, as practicable.

Ribbon cuttings increase the visibility of a grand opening, new location, ground breaking or special anniversary. We'll bring the giant scissors and the red ribbon, invite our ambassadors and publicize the event in our various publications.

The chamber's E-Business Connection is an electronic newsletter sent to the entire membership on the first Tuesday of the even-numbered months. The June E-Business Connection will hit your inbox tomorrow morning and it features ribbon cuttings, spotlights on members, listing of new members and a word from our new President/CEO James Cooper.

We are in search of mixer hosts for December 2022, and January and February 2023. Our mixers are held on the second Wednesday of the month from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. If you have any interest in hosting a networking mixer for the chamber, please email Susie.

The chamber's Business Connection newsletter is a bi-monthly publication inserted into the Pleasanton Weekly on the first Friday of the odd-numbered months. Our next newsletter comes out Friday, July 1. It features business spotlights on members, a column by the board chair, membership anniversaries, ribbon cuttings and more.
