"I invite Pleasanton residents and businesses to learn about the projects and programs our city has been working on, and some of the exciting initiatives on the horizon that will help ensure our city's growth, vitality, and stability in the years to come."
The luncheon event is a collaborative effort between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. Tickets to attend are available at www.pleasanton.org, $50 per attendee through March 11, $60 beginning March 12.

Please join us for our next Pleasanton 2025 Forum Meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 7:30 a.m. Our guest speaker is Dr. David Haglund, Superintendent of Schools for PUSD. This meeting will be held in a hybrid format where you can join us in-person at the chamber office or virtually through Zoom.

Beginning on March 8th (International Women's Day) and all throughout the month, we will be giving away a free cup of regular coffee with the purchase of a pastry.

Blood donors are essential to the health and safety of our community, and this March, saving lives is a slam dunk at Stanford Blood Center.

Accepting nominations and scholarship recipients
|
Now open online, April 11, 2022 is deadline for submissions. The Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative is seeking nominations for the 2022 13th Annual Juanita Haugen Community of Character Awards. These awards were established in 2008 to recognize Pleasanton citizens who model high ethical and moral standards of behavior and are dedicated volunteers contributing their time to our community. Candidates for this award should exhibit traits chosen by the Citizens of Pleasanton and Advocated by the Collaborative: Compassion, Honesty, Respect, Integrity, Self-Discipline, and Responsibility. Four high school seniors have been selected by the Community of Character Collaborative as recipients of the 2022 Juanita Haugen Memorial Scholarship. Applicants were required to explain how their actions have reflected any or all of the six characteristics adopted by the Pleasanton Unified School District, City of Pleasanton, the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce faith and other organizations: compassion, honesty, respect, responsibility, integrity, and self-discipline. Pleasanton Chamber CEO Steve Van Dorn to retire

After a 25-year career in the chamber of commerce industry, Steve Van Dorn, President/CEO of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, has announced his retirement effective May 1, 2022.
“I have really enjoyed my four years at the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. It has been my dream job, very rewarding and certainly challenging due to the pandemic,” said Van Dorn. “Thanks to an awesome team, engaged board of directors and a very supportive membership, the chamber is in a strong position to continue its leadership in advocating for the business community,” he said.
