We will use this input in our strategic planning process later this year as we begin to plan for 2023 and beyond.

Please help us better understand your needs and wants by completing this survey. It includes 26 questions and should take about 5 minutes to complete.

Pleasanton business climate is key driver of community's success
Economic driver awards presented
Pleasanton is widely recognized as a premier community in which to live, work and do business. Pleasanton companies generate close to 50% of the local tax base and collectively act as the community’s economic engine.

“The Pleasanton Chamber and City of Pleasanton have a strong partnership in supporting our business community,” said Kim Damiani, chamber board chair. “It’s an honor to come together each year to celebrate companies with a strong commitment to Pleasanton.”

The City of Pleasanton and Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce partnered to recognize five outstanding businesses as economic drivers in Pleasanton on June 14, 2022. These companies represent a wide range of industries driving the local economy and have a strong presence in the Pleasanton community.

Poppy Bank named Best Business Bank
Recognition from local community
Poppy Bank, located at 5870 Stoneridge Mall Rd Suite 100, Pleasanton with branches and lending offices throughout California, has been recognized as the Best Business Bank by NorthBay Biz Magazine. The recognition comes from the local community as a result of their commitment to local businesses and their business clients.

The pandemic changed the way large banks, and some smaller institutions finance small businesses, but Poppy Bank continues to go out of their way to help customers and non-customers gain access to financing.

Recently, Poppy Bank provided $18 million in financing to keep a community staple located in Santa Rosa, the Epicenter, open and operating following a tumultuous two-year shutdown due to the pandemic.

Leadership Pleasanton is a program to develop community leaders, co-sponsored by the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Pleasanton.

The Goal
  • Identify and motivate individuals who are committed to the betterment of the Pleasanton community
  • Acquaint participants with community assets, needs, and issues; and provide a forum to discuss these challenges with current community leaders.
  • Encourage active community involvement, whether in politics, non-profit organizations, boards, and/or commissions.

The Program
Leadership Pleasanton is comprised of individuals from all sectors of our community. The participants meet monthly from September through May, and classes are presented through experiences that inform, educate and challenge. Sessions are designed to be interactive and participants are expected to share their experiences and viewpoints.

Each year 25-30 individuals from local businesses, professional, government, social and service organizations participate in the program. We are now accepting applications for the Leadership Pleasanton Class of 2022-23. Space is limited, reserve your spot today. Deadline to register is August 1.
