Dr. Maria Okeke
Bond Elementary School Give
Dr. Okeke and her students visited Bond Elementary School to engage in an annual food drive for the holidays. The students, led by Dr. Okeke met with teachers and staff members to present their donations to the school. These items will be used to benefit Bond community families in need.

Smith-William Center Thanksgiving Basket Delivery
Dr. Okeke and her HPER students assembled and presented Thanksgiving gift baskets to families in the community at the Smith-William Center prior to our holiday break.

Commencement Ceremony 2019 | Participation Needed

Celebrate with Champions!
Please plan to attend the "Celebration of Champions" event this Thursday, December 5th, at 5PM at Bragg Memorial Stadium. President Robinson has asked that faculty be in attendance for the 9-2 football season celebration. FAMU DRS faculty and students will also be in attendance.

Fall 2019 Faculty Course Evaluations
Student Feedback
The Fall 2019 evaluation surveys for the FAMU Student Assessment of Instruction (FAMSAI) have been deployed for the main campus. The evaluations are accessible by students via a link sent to their FAMU email accounts or through the FAMU Blackboard account. The evaluations will be open to students until Sunday, December 8, 2019, at 11:59 p.m.   Reminders will be periodically sent to each student’s FAMU email account for the surveys not yet completed until the surveys close.
To access the course evaluation surveys, students should sig into Blackboard and click on a link of a currently enrolled course. Click on “Course Evaluations” in the menu on the left. This link will take you to the dashboard containing all of the course evaluations. Attached is a tutorial for the Class Climate Course Evaluations, which can be distributed.
All instructors should be able to view the completion progress of the evaluations via the dashboard in their FAMU Blackboard account. Faculty may follow the same instructions in the attached tutorial to reach the instructor dashboard. Faculty should encourage students to complete the surveys.

Open Forum with the Dean
Dean Watson will set aside time to have an open faculty forum to cap off the semester. Look for a date coming soon.
The theme will be "Sweaters and Sweet Treats with the Dean". You are welcome to wear crazy, lighthearted holiday sweaters.
