Sock It To Missions
For several years our church has been making special donations at Christmas to various mission projects. The missions selected make a difference in the lives of people, both locally and abroad. The nonprofit organizations selected this year to receive budgeted funds are in the Eugene/Springfield area and serve those most vulnerable among us. Those chosen this year are White Bird Clinic/CAHOOTS program (mobile crisis response), Occupy Medical (free medical care), Egan Warming Centers (provides overnight housing in freezing temps), HIV Alliance (education and other services). More info will be presented Sunday, December 10 at church. Y ou do not need to make a special offering. Your donations and pledges to FUMC during the year help to fund mission projects such as these. Thank you for caring and sharing.
