NEW VENUES!
We've been busy adding new venues to our roster for your convenience!
What are the three "L's" of a great game? Location, location, location!
We often receive emails and phone calls asking us "when are you going to get a game near me?"
Since owners PAY for our presence in their restaurant, we are very choosy about where we place games. In the past 10 years I have talked many owners OUT of booking us for a weekly event because I didn't feel the "mix" of vibe, menu selection and prices, level of service and location was strong enough to guarantee success.
But sometimes, the blend of those elements combined with our attention to detail in providing a great night-out come together and we announce a new venue!
In the past month we have come to this positive conclusion for two venues in two very different locations of Delmarva.
BETHANY BEACH, DE 
When I first heard of "Turquoise" I did some internet searching. My initial thought was, 'Wow! An AUTHENTIC Greek and Mediterranean and American restaurant in Sussex County! It will take an experienced team as well as a great menu and location to make such a restaurant work.' Turquoise has a fantastic location on Coastal Highway in Bethany Beach! I decided to go check them out. Then I met the owner and staff. To say that they have experience in the restaurant business is a significant understatement! On top of that, they possess an enthusiasm which is rare to find in a NEW team let alone one with such a resume' of time and experience in the business!
This gem has it all! A roomy, uncluttered dining area, a separate bar area, a great menu which has something for EVERYONE and now...

When we first started performing our trivia events at this magnificent, living example of Old Americana I was thrilled to be involved with this restaurant. In our absence, the ownership has changed and the pace looks even better than it did before! The old wooden floors were stripped and refinished as the entire place was cleaned and the bathrooms renovated to make the whole experience even better than it was!

They lost their Key Player (Amber)...so things may get interesting!

At the half Power Of One was top dog, followed by Sunny Beaches, Team 2 Be Reckoned With and Obsessive Compulsion. Heading into the final, Med's Head rallied hard to take the while all other teams maintained their brilliance. | Fat Tuna |  | It was a light night last week with everyone home watching the debates (that's good, right?). Team Tuna, Usual Suspects, Here For The Beer, Not So Sober Scholars, Two With Knowledge, Mandance, Margaritaville, and Robo were on deck at the Tuna last week.
Usual Suspects had the lead at the half, but who knew Tyne Daly won all those Emmys? Not me. And no one else, either! So that meant Here For The Beer took the $50 win with the safety zero wager, and Two With Knowledge snapped up the $25 second place slot.
As it gets colder, we will be moving indoors as we did last year, but it looks like this week might still have it warm enough to be on the patio!

I have to apologize for not reporting in last week, but two weeks ago the Nacho Prize was lost by Team Dirty Socks. Honorable mentions for good performances go out to He Man Woman Haters and We Don't Play Trivia, while the 2nd place prize went to The Men Are Drivin Cause The Women Are Gettin Hammered. Lost Cause lead the entire game and finished in 1st place.
This week was a tough game, but competition was very good between the 15 teams. Village Idiots were shooting the bull and not paying attention, but pulled off the 1st place prize... oh, yeah a zero wager on Final Bonus. 2nd place Bingo Wings lead most of the game, but wagered a bit too much on Final Bonus. Lost Cause jumped up from 11th place to take the 3rd place prize. Happy Birthday Colleen had a heckuva game and finished just out of the money in 4th place. The Nacho Prize was honorably won by The Cosby Sweaters. Keep up the good work and keep brining out the numbers.

Another close match as always with many tied scores throughout the game. At Halftime, Loose Buttons held the exclusive lead, followed by The Searchers, then Moist Towelettes tied with P.F.F., with another tie just behind them. The second half remained close behind Loose Buttons who had a perfect half. Moist Towelettes pushed through into 2nd, followed by P.F.F. and That's What She Said in a tie.
Nobody correctly answered the Final Bonus, so it all came down to the wagering.

We had an AWESOME turnout last week as some folks returned after trying something different and another team traveled farther north to play this week so they could stay home and watch the debacle.. er, I mean debate. With enough players to cause our amazing Adrienne to post three prizes, everyone had a great time enjoying the food and fun at Grotto Grand Slam. I lost my score-sheet but this much I know.. last week's winners, WE TAPE SURVIVOR, was forced to parade the Winner's Banner to the visiting team from the south! Will the team return to defend their win? Will we award three prizes again this week? Will John's feet itch? Ya gotta play to find out!

Busy Night as we had The End Of Regular Season Baseball in our eyes and Trivia in our ears. Great night of trivia as always, new faces, old faces, old new faces and new old faces, it truly was what this Ultimate Group Date thing is all about.

A comfortable crowd and some fantastic food made for a wonderful evening at Hammerheads. Shark Bites ran the table during the first half, well ahead of the closest competitors, Team Tebow and Where In The World Is Jesse Santiago. During the second half, Shark Bites kicked in the afterburners and stretched out to a near insurmountable lead going into the Final Bonus.
Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus, proving once again that it ain't over 'til it's over!

FINAL GAME FOR THE SEASON IS THIS SUNDAY!! COME OUT FOR A SPECIAL GAME AND A GREAT TIME!
Last night at Macky's we had a grand old time! The O's game was in a rain delay and Let's Do Trivia was keeping us dry! This coming Sunday, Oct. 14th will be the last game of the season so come on out to Macky's and check us out! The most creative team name of the evening goes to Ted for Tanya Harding Can't Wrestle But You Should See Her Box! We had alot of 1st time players in the house and everyone was off to a quick start! At halftime the top 2 teams of The Pros From Dover and Baby D And The Cougs got to take home the prize packs sponsored by Jagermeister! Going into the final question Baby D And The Cougs remained in 1st and Tanya Harding crept up into 2nd, while 7:30 Club was in 3rd and Infield Fly was in 4th! The final was a real doozie as Hi & Dry was the only team to answer correctly and they went all the way from 8th to take home the victory!

At Halftime, The Die Hards shared the lead with Wiz Kids, followed closely by 2 Be Reckoned With, then Team Heron Bay. During the second half, Die Hards would fall back into a see-saw battle with Team Heron Bay as Wiz Kids surged at the front.

Team Registrations begin at 6:30 with the game beginning at 7:00pm SHARP!
New faces The Weeds, The RVs, No. 5 join familiar friends
Redskins, Hat Rack, Mindless in Millsboro, OPD, and Heron Bay
in a battle for first (or second) this past Thursday night.
From the start The Weeds and Redskins matched answer for
answer, with most other teams following a close second. In fact,
there were three socials this game. With an opportunity for
many more - but for one or two wrong answers...
Following the halftime break No.5 had moved into a battle for
second with The Weeds, and only a few points separated all
the leaders. After Final Question wagering though Redskins
pulled out another first place win, and Hat Racks clenched second!
It was a GREAT night! Everyone had a blast! Grab a few friends and drag
them along so they can understand why you're so happy Friday mornings!

Apparently my high school should have voted me the boy most likely to forget to save his score sheet. But while I may have somehow digitally misplaced last week's rankings, the game was a blast. so I decided that since I don't remember what brainiac filled team took first place than I will just randomly fill space... what do you call it when the dark Sith lord goes up and down in a metal box? Elivader! But of course some of the seeming randomness includes a musical bonus band. Good luck on this one. And make sure to stay tuned for future blurbs, there is going to be something you won't want to miss when it comes time for the Halloween game! That's right, I don't know if you did the math or not but Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year!

started the evening off with a bang! A social on question 1.
They were soon joined by teams Up In Here, We Don't,
666, and I Wanna Touchdown There. All fine teams, but
there can be only one First Place winner!
Land and Sea conquered the came from beginning to end
holding onto first place from the On Time Bonus forward.
Congratulations on picking up the First Place $40 Prize!
