8th-seeded Hollister boys soccer beat top-seeded Westmont 3-2 in the CCS Division 2 playoffs on Saturday and will face 5th-seeded Junipero Serra in the semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

The Hollister High School ASB (Associated Student Body) sponsored the annual Air Jam on Friday, Feb. 16 in the recently-renovated auditorium. Air Jams started at Hollister High in 1993-94 so this is now their 30th year. Attention families of Hollister High School seniors: Do you need assistance completing a FAFSA or California Dream Act application Hollister High and South County Cal-SOAP are offering a financial aid workshop on Wednesday, February 28th from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Davis Library on campus. Students and parents will be able to receive one-on-one assistance completing either a FAFSA or California Dream Act application with a financial aid specialist. We hope to see you there! Attention Parents, Guardians and Class of 2024 seniors: Hollister High School's Counseling Department will host Gavilan’s RAM-O-RAMA student event on Wednesday, April 24. Seniors will have the opportunity to visit the Gilroy campus to complete the college application, orientation, and learn more about what the campus has to offer. Even if you are a senior sure of your college plans, it is still a good idea to visit Gavilan and see what they have to offer. All HHS seniors are invited to attend. Students will be excused from a White Day schedule -- blocks 4, 5, 6. Interested students can pick up a permission slip in the College and Career Center located in the Hollister High School Library. Permission slips are due no later than March 1.
