HOW MUCH IS LEFT IN THE SBA'S EIDL PROGRAM? -- PLENTY!
As of Dec. 24, The SBA said it had $11.8 billion in funds remaining across all of its Covid-19 EIDL programs, and it still has plenty in its coffers. According to agency guidelines, small-business owners who had previously received an EIDL and are eligible for an increase can still apply for one as long as the program has funding left.

TOM PIERSON RECEIVES WESTERN ASSOCIATION OF CHAMBER EXECUTIVES LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP AWARD
The Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE) Lifetime Membership Award is the closest thing that WACE has to a hall of fame. In the 98-year history of the organization, there have only been about 75 people who have received this recognition, and, as of 2021, there were only 26 living members. Now there are 27! The WACE Annual Conference was held last week in Glendale, AZ. And there, retiring Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber CEO, Tom Pierson, was awarded this honor. After a 20+ year, career of innovation, vision, and leadership in the Chamber world, it was well deserved!
CONGRATULATIONS TOM!
