Early Success for a Love of Reading

Summer is a great time to practice reading with children who are just starting to read on their own. Our Early Reader collection has thousands of titles at different levels of difficulty to help children develop confidence in their reading skills.

Whether stretching their minds with more difficult titles or reading something easier for enjoyment, children who are given the chance to read what they want are more likely to develop a love of reading.

For a quick grab and go, use our curbside pickup by placing holds on titles. View our curated lists, Early Readers by Series , under Suggested Titles to explore a wide range of topics from animals to superheroes.

The Libby app by OverDrive also provides access to 290 eBooks in our I Can Read By Myself collection just waiting to download to your mobile device. We have something for everyone in our selection of Early Readers - help your child find a story to enjoy!
