is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on payroll. There is still funding available through the Paycheck Protection Program!
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, June 30.

PPP EZ Loan Forgiveness
The federal government has made it easier for businesses that have received funding through the PPP to apply for full forgiveness for the funding they received. You’re eligible to use this
EZ Application
if you meet any of the following conditions:
- You are self-employed and do not have any employees
- You did not reduce employee hours or their salaries by more than 25%
- You experienced reduced business due to health orders related to COVID-19 AND you didn’t reduce the salaries or wages of your employees by more than 25%

“Together Now” Fund
Applications are now open for the “Together Now” fund launched this month by Mayor Lightfoot to provide financial relief for Chicago small businesses and non-profits that have experienced economic distress due to COVID-19 or recent property damage. The application deadline is Monday, June 29. Chicago businesses with property damage will be eligible for infrastructure grants up to $10,000 to help with repair costs. Businesses that have at least a 25 percent revenue loss due to COVID-19 will be eligible for operational grants up to $4,000 to help cover economic losses- apply

Phase IV Reopening
Chicago will enter Phase IV of its reopening plan on Friday, June 26. This next step will allow additional businesses to reopen and business that are already open to provide additional services. Information and guidelines about this next stage can be found

Chicago Resiliency Fund
The City of Chicago and The Resurrection Project announced the Chicago Resiliency Fund to provide $1,000 financial stipends to those who did not receive one through the federal government. The stipend will help people who are undocumented, in mixed-status families, experiencing homelessness, formally incarcerated, dependent adults, college students and more. To assist applicants, the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) will host a webinar and offer other outreach to make eligible businesses aware of available funding. Awards will be distributed in early July. DCEO will begin accepting applications on June 26. Until the 26th, DCEO is posting the application questions and required documents for businesses and business support organizations to read, review and prepare. Learn more

My Block, My Hood, My City’s Small Business Relief Grant
My Block, My Hood, My City has raised over $1 million to help businesses that have recently experienced property damage.
Applications for the Small Business Relief Grant program are now open and are due July 1
. Grants up to $7,500 are available for small businesses located in Chicago with 20 or fewer employees and less than $2 million in revenue. To learn more and apply, click
