4-H Capital Days

4-H Capital Days dates are May 22-24, 2022. This is a wonderful experience for teens to learn more about state government. At this time, the committee is planning an in-person event back in Albany.

The committee is seeking applications for the Teen Planning Committee. The application is posted to the state website: https://nys4-h.org/capital-days. Deadline for the application is January 1, 2022, and it must be signed by the county 4-H Educator. Youth do not have to have attended in the past, though it is helpful, and they have to be available for conference calls/zoom for planning before the event.  If you are interested, please contact Susan for more information.
NYS 4-H Advanced Equine Program

There is a new opportunity for 4-H Horse Lovers ages 14 and older! This program will expose youth to equine sciences and the equine industry. Delivered virtually, there will be a culminating field trip next summer. If you are ready for in-depth learning and participation, check out full details and begin your application today!

The Be Well Club!

Have fun with food and fitness, mindfulness and motivation, & community and cultures.
The club will generally meet once a month. Each meeting will include a simple healthy snack with recipe, a fitness activity, a mindfulness activity, and an educational component with a goal to work on for the next month involving healthy habits.
