MPHS JROTC cadets dressed up in their scary best for the Special Olympics Trunk or Treat. The cadets handed out several buckets of candy to the large crowd of Monroe County students who came out. Everyone had a great time and thanks to all the kids and parents in costumes. | |

On Wednesday October 18th, Senior and Junior teams competed in the State Land-Judging Career Development Event (CDE) ! The senior team placed 6th in State. The team was composed of Boss Malcom, Andrew Marlow, Adam Rhodes, and Blake Thompson. The junior team was named STATE CHAMPIONS!! This team included Hess Balltzglier, Ryan Bertram, Chris Marlow, and Liam Parks. Along with our State Land-Judging Teams, two students Eason Farmer and Ethan Bertram competed in the Forestry and ENR competition at the Expo. Eason placed first and Ethan placed second! We are so proud of these students and their hard work! | |
In partnership with Middle Georgia GLRS, Monroe County Schools will be hosting a Resource + Transition Fair on November 2, 2023 10am-2:30pm at the Monroe County Fine Arts Center. This free event is designed to provide students with disabilities, their families and guardians with resources for transitioning from school into the community. | |
Congrats to our girls Cross Country team for bringing home the Region Champion trophy for the 3rd year in a row! Way to go girls! Congrats to our boys team for placing 3rd. Kudos to the coaches that led and trained them to this point! Best of luck at the STATE competition! | |

My Stop Bus Tracking App
- Allows parents and students the ability to view scheduled bus stop time, location, and projected arrival time. This is available during scheduled route times only.
- Displays the actual location of the bus utilizing GPS technology.
- Updates approximately every 20-30 seconds and adjusts the scheduled arrival time as the bus is traveling along its route.
- Will show if the bus has already passed the assigned stop.

Help 4-H spread the holiday cheer with a personalized Monroe County 4-H Holiday Card! Submit your entries to the 4-H Office by Friday November 3rd for a chance to have your design become the holiday card. Entries must be original, they should include 4-H in the theme for the message or design, and they must be on white, unlined 8.5X5.5 inch paper (you may use a digital format). | |
