Monsignor James Joseph Fennessy

Please pray for the repose of the soul of our former pastor, Monsignor James Fennessy, who passed on Monday, September 15.


Monsignor Fennessy served as pastor of Saint Jude from August 2002 through May 2014. He is survived by his brother, David Fennessy; his sister, Mary Margaret O'Connor; his sister-in-law, Ann; his niece, Karen Fennessy (Gene) and great-niece, Ella; his nephew, Kevin Fennessy (Eleanor); and his niece, Yvonne. He was predeceased by his late brother-in-law, John O’Connor. He is also fondly remembered by his American family, Mary and the late Walt Holst, and their children, Mary, Betty, Wally, and Carol, their respective families, and the many parishioners who knew and loved him. 


A viewing will take place on Wednesday, September 24, at 6:00 pm, followed by a Vigil Service at 6:30 pm and a reception at 7:00 pm
