Lake Cumberland in early spring is truly a fisherman's paradise! Things are quiet, and it is truly relaxing.
Of course, loud creaking rod holders with reels screaming and rods doubled over also make for a great day on the water. Just ask Rob Demme, whose group caught a nice stringer of Stripers with Captain Dave just a couple of days back!

Spring is finally here and the fishing is great!
The Striper fishing at Lake Cumberland continues to be extremely strong! We are catching nice daily stringers of Stripers casting Captain Jim Special hair jigs and "Little Friend" blade baits.
We are also trolling Captain Jim Special hair jigs on Slider Divers and down riggers (the fish are active and chasing!) and the live bait bite is maintaining (with rods getting yank down hard and nice numbers of heavy fish coming in)!
See to the left the photo of the Rob Simon group from Columbus that nailed a nice 8 fish limit of fat Stripers fishing with me! The action was hot, fast and heavy with Stripers slamming my "Dominator" hair jigs!
The Stripers are still all over the back of the creeks in huge schools of hundreds of fish and we are absolutely hammering them!
There is a big Striper out there with
"your name on it"! Come and get it! Come catch your own wall mount trophy!
We are already booking strong through June! A lot of the April - May dates have already been snapped up! Our 2013 bookings are already the best we have had in years, as the fishing is simply phenomenal this year! Be sure to get your prime spring dates locked in for the tremendous Lake Cumberland Striper fishing!
