This week is a busy one for all of our Montair community. We have early dismissal schedule on Tuesday-Friday. This means that our 1-5th graders will be dismissed at 12:10. Our AM kinders and TK kids will attend school from 8:10-10:40. Our PM kinders will attend 9:40-12:10.
We also have the SRVHS Band Festival scheduled for Tuesday night @7pm in the big gym. This is a wonderful event where our 5th graders play alongside Stone Valley and Charlotte Wood Middle School band students. We also get to listen to and accompany SRVHS band students. Hearing the progression from elementary to HS is amazing and hopefully will inspire many of our kids to continue with their musical education after leaving Montair. This event is open to all so come on by.
On Wednesday morning @7:30am, our Spring session of Montair Run Club is back in action! Be sure to come by and run with the kids or if you’d rather, cheer them on and help count laps. Please do not park in staff spots if you are staying for the run club. Our teachers need to make it to school on time.
Lastly, we have our 3-5th grade SKATE NIGHT planned for this Thursday 6:30pm at Golden Skate. This is a fun evening for the whole family. Come on by and enjoy skating with the kids or just hanging out and watching them while you catch up with friends.
