Thank you to all of the parents and families who came out for Open House this past Thursday. A little rain did not get in the way of celebrating all that our kids have accomplished this year. These next two weeks will be busy with year end events and I want to take a minute to remind you to stay vigilant and safe when driving.

Last week, I sent out a blast reminding parents to stop at all stop signs around campus. We had a near miss that was due to a MT parent speeding and not attending to traffic laws. Rolling through is a dangerous habit and one that puts our kids and families in danger. I contacted SRVHS to let them know that we also have had a lot of speeding high school students on Esther to Estates. They said if any parent takes a photo of the license plate of those speeding cars, the School Resource Officer will personally talk with those students. Also, kids at SRVHS will lose parking privileges if they are driving unsafely through our neighborhoods. You can send any pics with descriptions to me and I will share with the SRVHS. I also contacted Danville PD and asked them to up their patrols to ensure everyone is driving safely. Please drive responsibly!

On that note, if you are planning on attending class parties, 5th grade commencement, the kickball game, or any other special events these next two weeks, please park at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley and walk in. It is a 7 minute walk...faster than the carpool lane and won’t block any traffic.
Here’s to another great week of learning together!
