Dear Montair Families,

It was a joy to visit many of our students last week in their new classes. A highlight of my week was visiting Ms. Scott’s class while the students listened to the poem, “For Everyone” by Jason Reynolds. A line that stood out to me was, “Dreams don't have timelines, deadlines, and aren't always in straight lines.” It was a great reminder that dreams delayed are not dreams denied. I look forward to visiting Ms. Scott’s class again to hear students’ reactions to this poem. I’m excited to visit more classes this week to see the magic our teachers bring to their students’ imaginations.
