Dear Montair Families,

This week in Mrs. Perring’s class, students investigated whether chocolate milk is healthy. They read several articles and critically examined whether the authors cited evidence to support their claims or simply shared their opinions on the matter. They then used the information they gathered to devise their own beliefs and used the evidence from the articles to support their arguments. Our students’ critical thinking and argumentation skills are impressive! Watch out 5th grade parents!!! Your children have new tools to convince you to change your minds!

I’ll be hosting game night this Wednesday night from 5:00 to 5:30 for grades TK-2 and 5:30-6:00 for grades 3-5. I look forward to hanging out with our students! I’ll have a variety of games for each group. Hope to see some of your kids there!
