Dear Montair Families,

I want to thank our families for allowing their children to participate in Game Night. It was my favorite part of the week! We had a wonderful time together! Our TK-1st grade gamers played, “Would you Rather”, an animal quiz game, and memory. Our 3rd-5th graders played a few rounds of Scattergories and we also drew a polar bear following a directed draw video from the Draw So Cute, YouTube channel. I loved having the chance to get to know more of our students, unwind and have a little fun with the kids after working all day!

Beginning this week, all schools across SRVUSD will begin surveying students about their social-emotional well-being. Once the questionnaires are complete, district staff will be supporting us with analyzing the responses and providing timely, targeted feedback and support to our students. Some examples of these supports could be:
Brief, individual check-ins with a caring adult on campus
Individual check-ins with a support providers
Small group student and parent workshops will provide additional opportunities for support

I would like to thank Monica Sanchez, our Montair representative to the SRVUSD Exceptional Education Committee. She dutifully attends all the meetings and provides us with valuable information regarding how best to support our students with exceptional learning needs. Please take a look at the latest resources available to our families:
