PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
This week has given me much food for thought. We honored Dr. Martin Luther King and celebrated our community with another amazing Festival Around the World. I greatly appreciate the diversity at our little school. We all come with different traditions, beliefs, foods, culture yet share in the common goals of equity and love for all. Thank you to the countless people who contributed to this event.

We have another opportunity this week to continue our community bonding. Our Montair Dad’s Club and PTA are hosting a Family Breakfast on Wednesday, January 29 at 7:30am. Our Dad’s Club is a social club bringing our dads together to form friendships and serve Montair. If you are interested in joining the Dad’s Club, follow this link . During breakfast, we can preview all of the amazing classroom Art Projects that will be available to purchase at our live and online auction. Often, photos don’t do these projects justice. Be sure to come by and check them out. You won’t want to miss this.

Right after breakfast, we will have our first screening of the documentary Screenagers as part of a PTA parent education event. This acclaimed movie will share information about the impacts of devices on our kids and offer ideas to help mitigate some of that impact. I am eager to learn along with you. We are even offering a second showing on February 4 from 6-8pm so parents can bring their big kids to watch together. Our hope is that this will be the beginning of some powerful conversations.

Here’s to another great week of learning together!
