PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
halloween-ghost.jpg
This week is certainly a special one for many of our kiddos. The costumes, party, parades, and decorations all contribute to a sense of merriment. Please refer back to last week’s Montair Minute to get details of Halloween, including a parking map of where to park and walk in to enjoy the festivities. Again, to watch the parade, you do not need to sign in. To attend a class party or celebration, you must have a visitor’s/volunteer sticker. Anyone on campus after the parade without this, will be asked to go to the office and sign in. Thank you.

I want to thank those parents who took the time to attend our Site Council Meeting this past week, and who participated in our LCAP discussion. Your input is so valuable to our site and to the district. I would also like to ask ALL of you, to take a minute to fill out a PARENT SURVEY that is linked to the California Healthy Kid Survey taken by most of our 5th graders last week. This survey will give us valuable site based data on how safe your kids feel at school and about how connected they feel. It will also ask about how connected you feel as a family member. I took the staff survey myself and it took about 10 minutes. It is my understanding that this should be similar.  I greatly appreciate your taking the time to fill this in.

Here’s to another great week learning (and having fun) together!
