PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Last week our Inclusion and Diversity PTA Chairpersons, Cheryl Aza and Mel Salomon, held an information night about the upcoming Festival Around the World . On January 23rd, the MPR will be transformed into an international party. Families will come together to share their culture through food, crafts, clothing, music, and entertainment. For this event to take place, we need you ! Currently, we have a few countries represented with booths but we need a few more. For those of you who have attended, you know how much fun this night is. We have enjoyed hot tea from Iran, henna from India, dancers from the Philippines and so much more. Take a look at this informational slide show which describes the event in greater detail, including photos and videos. If you are interested in hosting a country booth, sign up here on this form. It’s extra fun if you share the booth with another family, bringing together your ideas and expanding the presentation to include different traditions within a country.  If you have questions or would like to help out in another way other than hosting a booth, contact Cheryl or Mel .

Next week, there will be no school for the Thanksgiving Break. I hope you all enjoy extra family time together making memories! Don’t forget to send a shout out to a staff member. Folks have been very touched when I share the messages. FAMILY FEEDBACK FORM.

For more information on what’s happening at MT, be sure to watch last Friday’s Leadership Announcements on MTTV .

Here’s to another great week of learning together!
