Dear Montair Families,
We look forward to seeing many of you on campus tomorrow as classes celebrate the last day of school before winter break. We are excited to share that we will welcome several students back from Virtual Academy upon our return from break. Please join us in welcoming our students back to campus!
This year was an ongoing rollercoaster ride. We went from remote learning, to hybrid learning and then returned to campus with most of our students. At first we had 25 students on campus, then we had 300 students back on site. Finally, we have over 500 students at school. Our teachers and staff have been responsive to all the twists and turns we have experienced over the last twelve months. I am constantly impressed with their ongoing commitment to our students. Their love, patience, and hard work make Montair a special place for our students to learn and grow.
Our families have been incredibly supportive and cooperative as we have shifted through the ever changing landscape COVID presents us. We appreciate your ongoing encouragement and trust. Being a principal during these times provides me with never ending opportunities to grow, learn, and problem solve. I could not do my work without your partnership. I am one lucky principal!
We wish your family a very happy holiday season. We hope winter break provides your family time to recharge, reconnect and relax! We will see you back on campus on January 11, 2022!
