Message From The Principal
 Dear Montair Families,

It was wonderful to welcome our students and staff back after Thanksgiving break. Mrs. Espinoza and I have begun visiting classrooms to read Those Shoes to our students. It’s a beautiful story about generosity and gratitude. Many of our students have connected the message from the story to our Sister School Toy Drive. Thank you all for your generous donations to our Sister School, Mission Elementary School in Antioch.

We have an ongoing commitment to nurture a safe and welcoming community for our students and their families. We appreciate your support in ensuring that your children understand that they should not bring any toys, games, unless for a teacher directed share day, however toy weapons are never allowed at school.  In addition, we ask you to communicate to your children that if they see anything that appears to be unsafe or unkind to please inform a trusted adult. We want to continue to support our children in making safe choices and help them deal with strong feelings in a healthy ways.

We hope you have a wonderful week.

Kind regards,

Elizabeth Lyons, Ed.D.
