We have finished our focus on CONFIDENCE as the January character trait of the month. It was cool getting into classrooms and talking to kids about times they have had to believe in themselves and get through something hard. Kids shared times they faced a black diamond hill, a dentist’s drill, a super high roller coaster, and being left alone at home while parents went out. We loved sharing because at the end of the day, we all face challenges that intimidate us. Believing in yourself is a wonderful trait to pull from at those times.
Our February trait of the month is KINDNESS! What better way to kick this off than to celebrate Words Matter Week! We have many activities this week to promote kindness toward one another. Let’s all wear shirts with slogans that are kind, inspiring, or positive every day this week!
On Feb 11, I will share a short presentation about MONTAIR for the SRVUSD School Board. I invite any interested staff and parents who want to come and show their support for our little school. The Board Meeting starts at 7PM at 699 Old Orchard Dr. In most cases, the schools that are presenting are done by 7:30.
Here’s to another great week of learning together! And here’s to more kindness, always more kindness!
Enjoy the

announcements from last week.
