Message From The Principal

Dear Montair Families,

As we enter the spring, I want to celebrate some beautiful acts of leadership and kindness I have witnessed over the last few weeks. Our leadership students are now in charge of equipment check out at recess. These wonderful students have signed up on the ball check out rotation and are using their recess time to promote student responsibility. In addition, our leadership students are promoting school spirit, cooperation and sportsmanship through classroom visits and creating posters around our campus. We also have upper grade students helping our primary students with their schoolwork. It’s heartwarming to see our students foster a warm, supportive learning community.

We are scheduled for a modernization project to update perimeter fencing around campus next year. The project involves replacing existing perimeter fencing and adding new fencing along the front of the school near the office. Families are invited to join a fencing information meeting this Wednesday, March 16th at 6:00 via Zoom: https://srvusd-net.zoom.us/j/82963835294 Meeting ID: 829 6383 5294. During the meeting, our facilities director, Erin Hirst, will provide an overview of the proposed project and share the materials that will be used in the fencing project. We hope to see you there.

We have minimum days during conferences this week and a professional development day next week. Conference days are Wednesday, 3/16 - Friday, 3/18. Next Tuesday, 3/22 is a professional development day. Please refer to THIS calendar for daily dismissal and arrival times.
