Dear Montair Families, 

The SRVUSD 2021 Summer School will be held in person at Golden View, Rancho Romero, or Live Oak from 6/14-7/9 with no school on 7/5 from 8:15-12:45. Teachers will be recommending students who will benefit from additional support in reading and math.  If your child has been recommended for summer, you will receive an enrollment email from educational services.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions. 

I would like to thank the following parents for their contributions to the Montair School Site Council Jamey Fedun, Natasha Fitzgibbon, and Jen Birnie. We appreciate their time and commitment to our school community! We have an opening for next year’s site council.  The site council meets monthly for about an hour to review and give input on our school’s academic performance, emergency procedures, student programs and progress toward our School Plan for Student Achievement goals.  If you are interested in participating in our council please fill out THIS  interest form.  

If you are interested in your 5th grader taking the Math Advancement Placement test, please click HERE to get the information on how to access the test.  The testing window is open from April 30 to May 14th.  A  Zoom virtual information night on Wednesday, May 5, 4:30-5:30 is scheduled to explain the details of the middle school math advancement program. 

The Montair student leadership club is excited to announce the 2021-2022 Montair Talent Show.  All students are invited to submit an entry on this Flipgrid sharing their dancing, singing, comedy, magic tricks, and other talents . Entries can be no longer than 3 minutes and are due by May 7th (no exceptions). Students will need to use their school Google Account to access this Flipgrid: https://flipgrid.com/71388330 We can’t wait to see our shining stars in action!
