will honor Joy Harjo's poetry!

Madelyn Miller Jackson will open the program with a Native American Blessing and a Joy Harjo poem followed by the Montaukett Women's Circle Dancers and Native Singers performance. A viewing of “Conscience Point,a documentary film about a Native American activist battling developers in the Hamptons. After the viewing invited panelists from Long Island Indian Country will discuss the film and the book “An American Sunrise.”
