SEPTEMBER 2019 NEWSLETTER
Montgomery County and Fort Campbell are always a success but this year...BAM! What a GREAT start for the Class of 2020! The session was moved to September due to inclement weather challenges at Fort Campbell in prior years. It paid off! It was hot but there was no ice or tropical storm to contend with this year. Day one at Fort Campbell was amazing. The first day ended with a dinner hosted by F&M Bank. What a GREAT alumni turnout! Holy cow, you all! Montgomery County alumnus showed how to support
Each session includes an actual road map for the day. This new tradition was first introduced at the Sumner County Session in May 2019 by Barbara Brennan (LMT 2002) with the help of Kendrick Curits (LMT 2019). Kendrick supplied LMT with maps for every county to have them printed on foam board. Let's just say that the visual of the road map is a huge hit! Thank you Barbara and Kendrick for a new LMT tradition!
Pete Miraldi, Community Relations Officer, Ft. Campbell Public Affairs Office gives the Class of 2020 a tour, starting with a WWII memorial.
The class was able to see a "Dunker Demo" at the Allison Aquatics Training Facility. This is a simulation of a helicopter submerging under water with pilots/crew having to escape. Incredible!
Gerald Brown, Davidson County, looking pretty comfortable in a Blackhawk helicopter.

Corey Albert, Dickson County, and Drew Jennings, Sumner County, on the Ft. Campbell bus ride.

Carrie Brumfield, Davidson County, is ready to rappel!
