Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'"

Remember this powerful message as you plan your volunteer activities this year!

Make a Difference

As we look back on Black History Month, we remember that history is not only about the past. It also helps shape our future. The Prathertown community was founded in 1883 by formerly enslaved people and is one of the oldest African American communities in Montgomery County.

In the February episode of Make a Difference, Florence interviews Saundra Prather, the CEO of Prathertown Community Development Corporation (CDC). Saundra shares how Prathertown CDC volunteers help make a positive impact in Montgomery County.

Watch the February episode and explore past episodes on County Cable Montgomery.
