President's Day

On February 19th the Conway Public Library will be closed in observance of President's Day.

February is the Month to Meet Local Authors

Local Author: Meet & Greet Event

Thursday, Feb. 1st

Come meet & greet local author Christine Parson on Feb. 1st, at

5:30 pm in the Periodical Room.

She will be giving a talk about "Surviving Estrangement"

and take an in-depth look at her novels.

Book signing after the talk.

To buy Christine Parson's books before the event locally, White Birch Books

will have copies available.

All proceeds will be kindly donated to Starting Point.

Local Author: Meet & Greet Event

Tuesday, Feb. 20th

Come meet & greet local author Marianne O'Connor on Feb. 20th, at 5:30 pm in the Periodical Room.

She will be giving a talk about the new hikes that are included in the second edition of, "Haunted Hikes of NH" to celebrate ten years of spooky trekking!

Mini Movers

Feb. 1st, 8th, 15th, & 22nd

@ 10:30am

Join Kate & Tessa for movement and fun in the gym at Conway Rec. Gymnasium

(located in the Kennett Middle School

building on Main St.)

Children will enjoy a story and themed obstacle course followed by a healthy snack. This 4-session Thursday program is intended for children ages 3 and up with their caregivers. FREE!

Once Upon a Story Hour: Special Guests Storytime

Once Upon A Story Hour


Come & join Once Upon A Story Hour on the last Thursday of the month starting at 4:30 pm in the Children's Room.

Each visit will have different stories and activities. All are welcome! Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • March: Ms. Frizzle will be visiting in time for the eclipse.

The Knitting Guild

February 5th

On the 1st Monday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, The Knitting Guild will meet in the Ham Room.

February's theme is "If you need help." Bring in your project & members will share their tips & tricks to get the job done.

In 2024 each meeting will have a theme to work from, so check out the CPL's calendar for updated themes.

All are welcome to join.

Pajama Storytime

February 5th


On the 1st Monday of each month

at 6:00 pm in the Ham Room.


Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to snuggle and enjoy soothing stories and songs with Tessa. All are welcome

Poetry Group

February 1st

The Poetry Group will meet every 1st Thursday of the month in the Periodical Room from 4:00-5:30 pm. The Writer/Poetry Group, where fellow lovers of poetry are encouraged to come to write & read their poetry, or recite poems from their favorite authors.

February's theme will be short poems & Haiku writings: Small gestures to express Big Love.

2nd half of the Month: Monthly Meet-ups

Maker Madness

February 28th


Meetings are held on the

last Wednesday of each month, at 4:00 pm in the Ham Room.


Maker Madness is for kids over age 5 & teens to drop in and create! There will be a variety of STEAM activities to choose from.


LEGOs and other building materials will always be available, in addition to arts and crafts activities, simple food preparations, and more!

Kids under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Warhammer Alliance



Meetings are held on the 

2nd Thursday & last Wednesday of each month from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Periodical Room.


Feb. 8th & Feb. 28th



Warhammer is more than a game – it’s a hobby and has something for everyone. Whether they like assembling stunning collections, building intricate models, or showing off their creativity through painting, it’s all here!

Countless worlds and realms await to be conquered in tactical gameplay or discovered in the chapters of gripping novels.

All experience and interest levels are welcome!

Join our weekly VEX Robotics and 3D printing club! On Tuesdays starting at 4:00 pm in the Ham Room.

A Friendly Reminder to the registered members for Spring Cohort Minecraft. On Thursdays at 4:00 pm the group will meet up in the Ham Room. Registration is full.

Every Tuesday, at 10:30 am Tiny Tots Storytime will meet up in the Ham Room.

Every Wednesday, at 10:30 am
