The June 24th Coffee in the Park featured KC Cattle Company (Patrick Montgomery), Row House (Jane Stanley), and Spaces, Inc (Allison Park).

PSSI is a 501C 3 nonprofit agency serving Platte County seniors, age 60 and older, since 1982. We provide activities, education, exercise, and various services at our Centers.

4th of July Parkville Activities

Join us for our annual PARKVILLE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION on Monday, July 4, 2022!
Parkville’s traditional salute to Independence Day includes a pancake breakfast, a community parade, food, fun, shopping, kids' activities, a skydiving exhibition, and our Fireworks Finale at 9:30 p.m.
The Parkville Area Chamber of Commerce will be walking in the parade. If you are a Chamber member and would like to walk with us and promote your business, please be at the Chamber office by 9:30 am on Monday, July 4th.

North Kansas City Hospital Recognized on
Newsweek’s List of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals
North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health have
earned top honors on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2022 for providing high-quality maternity care from pregnancy through birth, as well as postpartum care. The list is compiled with data from Statista and recognizes the top 350 hospitals for maternity care in the United States. The hospitals are divided into two performance categories: five-ribbon hospitals and four-ribbon hospitals. NKCH received a four-ribbon designation.
Newsweek’s evaluation is based on three factors: a nationwide online survey of maternity
healthcare professionals; medical performance indicator data relevant to maternity care; and
patient satisfaction data.
“This is an honor,” said Catherine Bonderer, senior director of Maternal Child Health at North
Kansas City Hospital. “It shows our commitment to quality care through every stage of this
special milestone for families.”
