Senior living community earns honor for a fifth consecutive year

Senior Star at Wexford Place is proud to announce that they have been certified by Great Place to Work for a fifth consecutive year.

Great Place to Work, an independent research and consulting firm, evaluated more than 1,000 surveys from Senior Star employees across the organization’s eight locations in the United States. Trust, respect, pride, and camaraderie were among the top workplace highlights noted from the 99% participation rate among Senior Star employees. The certification process assessed more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job including employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter who they are or what they do.

“At Senior Star, our associate-first culture is the key to our success,” said Anja Rogers, Senior Star CEO. “We believe that every one of our associates must feel valued to give value to our residents, and we’re committed to hearing what is most important to our associates, where they need help, and areas on which we need to focus. Our shared corporate promise to ‘Do for each other with love’ reflects the importance we place on our associates’ happiness and sense of fulfillment in their work environment.”
