Reading Challenges for March | |
|
Women's Prize Longlist
Month of March
The 2025 longlist varies in subject matter, style and genre, and the 16 books make for an incisive and original reading list.
Varying in subject matter, style and genre, readers will find agenda-setting reportage on contemporary issues alongside revisionist histories and myth-busting biographies; memoirs of self-determination and intimate narratives that shine a light on ordinary people combine with real-life criminal cases, notorious and forgotten, whilst a handful of the books defy genre-classification, weaving multiple disciplines into one compelling narrative work.
The Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction is an annual book prize that celebrates exceptional narrative non-fiction by women. The Prize promotes excellence in writing, robust research, original narrative voices and accessibility, showcasing women’s expertise across a range of fields. The Prize is awarded annually and is open to all women writers from across the globe who are published in the UK and writing in English.
