Looking Back on March

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17

Financial Needs
He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:20

Let's Reminisce On How Great Our God Is...
Jonathan, Rachel, and I.
On the right you can see a picture of my brother and his fiancee who came to visit. I had heard a lot about, Rachel before I got to meet her. Jonathan even proposed to her before I ever met her. How they met is a total God story and they amaze me; not only as a couple who puts God in the center of their relationship, but as individuals on fire for Him. I was very happy to see my brother again for the second time this year and super excited to meet his beautiful fiancee. (My future sister-in-law, yay!)

At the beginning of March I was a little skeptical about how it would play out. You see, March carries a lot of hard memories for me from four years ago when I went through something rough. You want to hear something crazy though? I felt like God was about to change every bad thing that March reminded me of for good! Even though I was still a little bit cautious, I felt again that God was about to do something awesome in my life. I spent 13 days really seeking Him and I gave up a few things (like coffee, yikes!) during those days. Before I knew it, I was writing out my story of the sexual abuse I experienced four years ago and how God has turned it around and made me new. Now I am putting it together to share with others on my blog about how amazing God was and is and always will be. Before, during, and after the chaos He is there. You just have to remember to call on Him.  Click here to check out my blog!

Last but not least, as many of you may know, I have been looking for a new home for my sweet German Shepherd, Daya. On Monday the 30th I took Daya to meet her potential adoptive parents, Stephanie and Andrew. Stephanie is from the US and Andrew is Panamanian. They live here in Panama and have been looking for a big dog with a mean bark for protection and companionship. When we met up with them, Daya clicked with them right off the bat. She ran around the park playing fetch and sniffing around with other dogs. They seemed to really like her. We are going to take Daya to their house later this week so she can meet their three cats. Even though this is pretty difficult, I know it's necessary. I just want Daya to go to a good home with someone who will love on her and give her all of the attention she wants.
What's To Come For April...
Island in the Caribbean
April is my last month in Panama! I have 27 more days here and then I go back to the US. Since September 1, 2013 I have been living in Panama with my family. It has been such an amazing time, filled with memories I will never forget. I'm very thankful for all of the ministry I have gotten to do over the last 20 months, but more than that, all of the people I've done ministry with. People that may have only been here for a couple of days or for months have impacted my life in a such a great way. God is doing a mighty work in Panama. Even though I am leaving for a time I know I will be back one day.

On April 28th I fly back to the US with my family! They will fly on to Dallas, TX. and I will stay in Florida for one week with a good friend of mine. On May 6 I will fly to Dallas and be there for about nine weeks. While I'm there I will be doing important things like eating at In-N-Out burger and Chick-Fil-A...Oh wait.. That's not important, just kidding. In Dallas I hope to get my drivers license, possibly look for a job or maybe even do little jobs for friends and family where they need me to help raise support, and also meeting up with family and friends in the Dallas area! On July 9 I leave to do my Discipleship Training School (DTS) for six months so before I leave I would love to reconnect with anybody who is in the Dallas area around that time. If you are and would like to meet up, let me know!

Get Involved!

God is faithful. All of my life He has provided for my every need in different ways in every circumstance. As a full time missionary I rely completely on God through people to provide all of my finances. Before now my parents did all of our fund raising for the family but now - as I'm branching off - I have to raise my own personal finances. Please pray and consider supporting me financially on this life long journey of missions I'm on.
