*Storytime will be taught in Room B11, and Activity Time will be taught in Room B10 for grades 1-5.

The nursery is available each Sunday from 8:30am - 12:00pm with Mrs. Jenny Torson

for children ages 3 months through 4 years old

with a Sunday School option for

4-year-olds in room B3 from 9:30am - 10:30am.

Every person at FMUMC is invited to bring their backpack, diaper bag, briefcase, etc. to any worship service on August 6th to be blessed for the upcoming school year.

All children in PreK - 5th grade are invited to attend the Growing with God Pancake Party on August 6th at 9:30am in the B-Foyer to celebrate the kickoff of the new year. Please sign in at the check-in table. Children will have an opportunity to go in the Fellowship Hall as a group to get their backpack blessed during the Pancake Party.

NEW Fall Classes will Begin August 13th at 9:30am  

We are happy to add a Pre-K - Kindergarten class this year to our Growing with God program. This class will be custom-made specifically for this age group and will encourage children to grow in their faith as they build relationships with one another. This class will be equipped with two adults and one youth helper. WE STILL NEED ONE ADULT to help Alice Pollard lead this class at 9:30. Lesson plans will be laid out for you, very minimal prep work is required. PLEASE REACH OUT TO KERRY MAYS at Growing with God Co-Teacher Inquiry if interested.

Another great addition to our Growing with God program is that there will now be rotating classes taught to our children. Ray Drefus will teach Bible lessons during Story Time while Leslie Hrabik will share activities with the children that directly relate to the message of the day during Activity Time. This will allow the children to be enriched to the fullest as we take advantage of our teacher's unique gifts.

Parents are invited to meet with program leaders on August 13th in room C 2/4 to learn more about what is happening in the life of our Children and Youth Ministries.

If your child is in the 3rd grade or older and would like to acolyte, please contact Jan Call at [email protected]. Training will be on August 13th at 4:30 pm in the Sanctuary.



Family Campout is back!

There are options to stay for the afternoon or stay overnight. Overnight arrangements must be made through Kerry Mays @ [email protected]. You can choose between cabin rentals that sleep between 2-6 people, RV sites with full hook ups, and primitive camping sites. All overnight reservations must be made by August 20th.



Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out over the summer in VBS! We had such a successful experience; the kids didn't want it to end!

We are currently looking for assistance in Growing with God classrooms for 

August 13th - September 24th

All who serve must have a background check and be Ministry Safe certified. This process takes approximately 45 minutes.
