Sacred grounding and sharing is so important for the long haul loving work. Lisa Leahigh, a Buddhist practitioner who is in and Eco-chaplaincy program through Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe is leading the monthly evenings.

Drawing inspiration from Johanna Macy’s, The Work That Reconnects, join us for practices that support gratitude, honoring our pain for the world, seeing with new eyes, and going forth. This process will take place through a short grounding meditation, reflection, and council-style sharing, in honor of the inner-outer world. May this gathering be a source of renewal and help us to continue showing up for this earth and ourselves.

Please join us on Thursday, October 19 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at Monte Vista Christian Church in Albuquerque for Interfaith Power and Light's Annual Fall Gathering. This year's theme is Healing Relationships Within Our Sacred World.

We are inviting our community to come together for an evening to celebrate our collective work caring for our natural world.

Join us for:

• food and drink with time to connect with our interfaith partners,
• singing with David Poole, director of the Peace Choir,
• a panel on our theme hosted by environmental reporter Laura Paskus,
• our annual Seed & Sprout awards
• and highlights from IPL New Mexico & El Paso Region's work this year.
