MONTHLY LIFESTYLE & COMMUNICATIONS REPORT
|
|
- The Spring Eggstravaganza was our greatest event turnout yet, and I was able to meet and talk to many residents in person. I saw and got to meet a lot of new faces that I hadn’t seen at our previous larger events. I made myself highly visible at the event, which encouraged a lot of interaction.
- Signing up any resident that stops by the office for our community newsletter, I signed up ten new subscribers just from people stopping by the office.
- Increased posting of event reminders on our Facebook feed and stories to help increase awareness of events coming up.
|
|
- Residents really enjoy the food trucks and have requested a wider variety, so we worked on contacting new trucks for our summer schedule. New Food Trucks on rotation will include Sandlot Subs, Nacho Loco, The Caribbean Cajun, Newman Style BBQ, Tanos Tacos, Mike's Chicken Shack, and Trefiamme Pizza.
- Working with our Homeowner board member Monica to share information and updates with our community and surrounding area that affect our residents. Items such as the FM1385 Expansion Project, the online Change petition regarding the expansion project start date, and the in-person petition signing to prohibit commercial vehicle parking in Arrowbrooke,

Spring Eggstravaganza
April 1, 10 AM - 12 PM
This family-friendly extravaganza truly captured the essence of springtime joy and brought together a wide array of activities and attractions that everyone enjoyed! We had bounce houses, a balloon artist, a face painter, a petting zoo, a llama photo booth, yard games, and a visit from The Easter Bunny! The Egg hunt was by far the highlight of the event, and having everyone go all at once made everything just run smoothly. The spring resident vendor fair was well attended as well, we had 13 resident vendors, and Paradise Snow Cone and Elm Ride Police Department joined us as well! Overall an amazing turnout and lots of positive feedback.

ArrowBrooke Smalls
April 4, 10:30 AM - 12 PM
Our first ArrowBrooke smalls meet-up was a great success! I brought out fruit and water for the first snack. The kiddos really enjoyed watermelon and strawberries! I’m excited to see this crowd grow and watch new friendships bloom with the kids and parents.

HOA 101 - Meet & Greet
April 6, 6 PM- 8 PM
This was the opportunity to come out and meet our newly elected Homeowner board representative Monica Barlow and have Elm Ridge Water District out for questions and answers. We had our usual crowd show up for the free alcohol, and we were able to get some good information out of the water district. Based on attendance for just the HOA 101, I think we should do these virtually from now on and only special meet and greets in person.

Spring Clean Out
April 8, 9 AM - 12 PM
This event is sponsored by the Elm Ride Water District. They scheduled the Recycling Truck, Hazardous Waste Disposable, Bulk Trash, and Shredding truck to be out for residents to come clear out their trash.
This event is typically done on the same date as the garage sale, but having it after the garage sale allowed more residents to be able to participate. Hoping to continue to do this a week or two after the garage sales.

Fishing Derby
April 15, 9 AM - 12 PM
The fishing Derby was intimate, but everyone who came had a lot of fun! Hot Dogs seem to be the best bait for the fish of the ArrowBrooke pond. I want to try this event again but in the summertime instead of early spring.

Casino Night
April 29, 7 PM - 9:30 PM
Classic event! We had a total of 45 of the 50 spots available for this evening. This is such a fun event for our 21+ crowd, and the ones who come out truly enjoy it. We had 3 Blackjack, 1 Craps table, 1 Roulette, and 1 Poker table with an open beer and wine bar. It definitely a fan favorite and will have this back again next year.
