Oregon Health Care Foundation Spring Cycle Scholarship Opportunities

Now is the time to apply for OHCF's Spring Cycle Scholarship awards.  We encourage you to apply, or help spread the word and share information about these opportunities with interested students. There is just over 1 month until the May 16 submission deadline. OHCF awards scholarships each year to individuals from a variety of disciplines related to the long term care profession, senior housing, gerontology and older adult services. Consideration is given to individuals who are exploring these fields as a possible career choice as well as those currently working in the profession who desire further certification, licensure, or a degree.  There are two main types of Scholarships available through the OHCF Scholarship Program: General Studies and Disciplinary.

For this Spring Cycle OHCF is offering 4 General Studies Scholarships ($500 each), 1 Wendell White Scholarship ($2000 Award), and 1 Margaret Murphy Carley Scholarship For Nursing Education ($2000 Award).  We invite you to share information about these opportunities with your colleagues, friends, family, or anyone you know who may be interested in pursuing a career in long term care.  More details and links to the applications can be found online at http://www.ohcfonline.org/programs/scholarships/application-process-criteria/.

Additionally, please consider making a tax deductible contribution to OHCF to help keep important programs like the scholarship programs alive in the future. Learn more about ways you can help support OHCF.
Please contact us if you need additional copies of the Guide. They are available at no cost, and are the perfect resource for health fairs, workshops and your marketing packets.
Thank you for your continued support, we are truly grateful. You are the reason we continue to grow with each edition. Let us know if you would like a media kit sent to you.
