A Life Well Lived

"At the end of the day, I will ask myself- did I love enough, did I laugh enough, did I make a difference?"

- Unknown

Last month we lost a great friend and colleague when Jim Miller of Golden Harvest Music passed away. I continue to be touched as his name reappears in so many conversations that are not remotely related to his direct business. His contributions continue to unfold and be seen- this was a life well lived! At the end of the day- he loved enough, laughed enough and definitely made a difference. I hope to do the same.

New features for RetirementConnection.com

We have been working to update our website over the past few months. Stage 1 has just been completed. Here is an overview of some of the most exciting new features:
  • Sponsors can choose to have an increased online presence, by adding "Profiles". The profiles will include 1500 words and images to greater outline a company's services. Their logos will also be displayed on the right side of key web pages. We are limiting these for the first year to only 15 per category (housing, homecare, everything else)
  • The Events Calendar is now much more robust and can be searched by region, or type of event. We have also added the local calendar for public events to the pages for each market. So if you are on a "Salem" page, the  Salem Upcoming Events calendar is visible.
  • We also added a new feature of "My List of Resources". With this feature, you can create your quick reference list of most needed services- then you can email these to yourself or a friend, or you can also download and save your list. Check out this new feature with the link at the top right of every page.
  • Overall upgrade- we cleaned up the appearance of the website to be a bit more modern and to load faster and search better. This new design and layout is more mobile friendly for smart phone users as well.

We plan to share more about the website and roll out Stage 2 features at the upcoming Sponsor Breakfast on February 18th. Please join us.

Please contact us if you need additional copies of the Guide. They are available at no cost, and are the perfect resource for health fairs, workshops and your marketing packets.
Thank you for your continued support, we are truly grateful. You are the reason we continue to grow with each edition. Let us know if you would like a media kit sent to you.
