GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club (NPWC) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the local community. It attends to the diverse needs of the community through service projects, fundraising, education, leadership, and fun!

Diverse in age, interests, and experiences, all clubwomen are united by a desire to create positive change in their communities. NPWC members work to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage civic involvement.

Visitors shopped for the upcoming holiday season from a wide variety of crafts, art, and goods, including handcrafted quilts, blown glass and keepsakes, country crafts, floral arrangements, ceramics, pottery, unique jewelry in sterling and crystal, holiday ornaments, and more.

Stone Crab Season is Here
KEY WEST, FL - The state’s stone crab fishery should expect to take a hit this season from the   red tide   algae bloom that’s been plaguing Florida’s west coast for months, but the Keys, which accounts for 65 percent of the harvest of the  sought-after claws ,  does not appear to be affected. The eight-month commercial season began Monday, with fishermen pulling traps that have been soaking for the past 10 days.

CLEARWATER, FL - The students of St. Cecelia Catholic School of Clearwater, Florida gathered by the school’s flagpole where they honored the courageous of our country, the veterans. A prayer service and flag raising to God Bless America was a very touching sight to behold. The students were asked the question, “Who are veterans?”

The Salvation Army Holiday Give backs
The Salvation Army Silver Bells program is a need based Christmas assistance program for seniors age 62+ who live in Mecklenburg and Union counties. With the help of numerous media partners and generous members of our community, the Salvation Army provides gifts to hundreds of seniors each year.
