Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center
February 2021
Clinic Update: We have been increasing the number of in-person appointments as it is safe to do so. Nevertheless, we are continuing to offer tele-health visits as well. Please reach out to your provider to address any concerns prior to canceling any upcoming appointments. A no-visitor policy remains in effect for all Northwestern Medicine outpatient clinics and facilities. Exceptions include patients with disabilities who require a reasonable accommodation for assistance (limited to one support person).

Vaccine Update: While we are not vaccinating people in the neurology office, NM is contacting people about opportunities to get vaccinated. To ensure you are captured in this process we encourage you to sign up for MyNM (formerly NM MyChart). Those who have a MyNM account will receive vaccine invitation through that portal. If you are not enrolled in MyNM, the invitation will come via your preferred communication method — text message, email or phone. You can learn more about MyNM and sign up at The page also includes instructions for downloading the MyNM® app. As additional vaccines become available, information will updated at
