First United Methodist Church, Killeen is beginning a ministry of active licensed and retired medical persons who are prepared to respond to unexpected emergencies that occur during the worship service. These are not just parish nurses, but those whose careers have been/are in various fields of medicine.

We are helping to solve the growing challenges of homelessness in Central Texas.

Our church is partnering with Grace United Methodist Church, Copperas Cove and participating in the upcoming Greater Bell County Suicide Prevention Walk (October 3rd, 2026, 10:00 AM at Purser Park, Harker Heights TX).
