Congratulations to the Best Commuter Businesses of 2025!

Each year, Ride Together Pierce recognizes Pierce County employers who are putting in effort to increase sustainable commutes taken to their worksites through the annual Best Commuter Business program.

Congratulations to the 36 Pierce County worksites that supported their employees’ commutes and earned this designation in 2025!

Ride Together Pierce and our partners at Tacoma On the Go recently hand-delivered the Best Commuter Business awards to many of these designees. We are proud to work with so many ambitious employers who care about their staff and our environment.

How Do You Ride?

Carolyn is a Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department employee who works from home some days. Working from home saves her 70 minutes of driving time a day, and $100 a month.

"When I telework, I enjoy spending the time I would have been in traffic with my family. I use that time to walk to the playground with my two sons after work." - Carolyn O.
