P2P Partner Supporting Youth:

Drouillard Place

Drouillard Place hosts after-school programs for children and youth in the Ford City and Grandview communities, providing help with homework, sports activities, guest speakers, nutritional snacks and more.

Programs provide a comfortable, non-threatening, non-judgmental atmosphere for youth.

Pathway to Potential funds the Teen Program and Grandview Youth Programs.

Quotes from Drouillard Place participants:

The reason centre is awesome is when a boy and girl were bullying another kid, you guys took it seriously and didn’t let it slide and not everyone does that. Everyone is safe here, we all belong to our Grandview family.”

-- Participant, Age 13

We get to spend time with our friends, we can do crafts, and go on field trips. We mostly just have fun together.”

-- Participant, Age 7

I like being here because I can talk to adults that make me feel better and to get help with school and good food.”

-- Participant, Age 16
