Save a Life with Naloxone
When people experience an opioid overdose, you can restore their breathing and save their life by giving Naloxone. Naloxone is a medicine that safely and effectively reverses an opioid overdose.
If opioid poisoning is suspected, call 911 immediately and ask for emergency medical help. Naloxone is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical care. As soon as the 911 call is made, lay the person on their back, and administer Naloxone as quickly as possible.
The community can now access Naloxone at My Sister's Closet, Bloom Creative Studio and at our Main Office location in Bethlehem at no cost with no questions asked.

BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT...
Our board member, Tiffany Sondergaard, says she “gives back relentlessly to many organizations,” and here at Bloom for Women, we want to thank this energetic businesswoman and community leader for making our mission such a blessed recipient of her professional talents, compassion and generosity!
Tiffany first learned about Bloom while working with a local domestic violence awareness nonprofit. While planning their annual fundraiser, she was looking for sister organizations to highlight at the event. Her search resulted in our Director of Development, Vickie Nisbet, giving a presentation on behalf of Bloom for Women. Tiffany joined Bloom’s board in January of 2022.
“I handle media relations for Bloom. My company is now --ts Brand Elevation.” In addition to her board role, Tiffany explains that she looks to serve as Bloom’s PR agency of record, supporting media relations and special event marketing. As founder of --ts PR & Event Planning, she has extensive experience in the design and execution of national publicity campaigns, strategic marketing communication programs, and special events for major brands. She was recently recognized as one of Lehigh Valley Style’s 2022 Women of the Year.

Summer is quiet at the studio from outside participation, but the staff and our lady participants can find plenty to do to keep us busy. Whether we are designing a new window display, learning a new craft or expanding our knowledge in a craft, we are keeping busy and art is moving to our store front. Come shopping! If you have the opportunity to come visit please stop by.
As we welcome new survivors into our homes on a regular basis and are in constant need of restocking essential items for them, we have created an Amazon Wish List. The online list makes it easy for you to pick out items that our survivors need while staying in our homes and have them sent directly to Bloom. All donations are greatly appreciated. We ask that when you make a donation to please include your name in a gift message so that we can properly thank you for your donations.
Bloom is a faith-based non-profit organization with the mission of providing sanctuary and a continuum of care to heal, empower and employ women survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. As part of its mission, Bloom offers emergency response, a two-year residential program, pregnant survivor services and an independent living program in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. Bloom follows the model and is a sister community of the remarkably successful Thistle Farms Nashville program. In addition, the Bloom Creative Studio, located in Bangor, Pa., is a social enterprise to leverage art as a healing tool and provide employment opportunities for survivors. Bloom also has a women’s upscale, resale boutique, My Sister’s Closet, based in Bethlehem, Pa., providing employment opportunities for survivors, community volunteer opportunities, and financial support for the organization.
