Message from the Chief

In the month of February 2018, the District and the American Canyon Firefighters, Local 1186 commenced negotiations for a successor agreement between the District and firefighters. The agreement is known as the Memorandum of Agreement or “MOA.” The current MOA is a three year agreement with a term of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018. Our goal is to conclude negotiations and ratify the successor agreement prior to the end of June.
