RentSmart Course with the CMHA-WECB


The CMHA-WECB Wellness & Recovery College is offering a RentSmart course over four Friday afternoons.

  • The course will be held onsite at the CMHA-WECB at 1400 Windsor Ave.
  • Course dates are Friday, February 24th, March 3rd, 10th, and 17th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Mary Ellen Bernard Receives Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Pin Award

Mary Ellen Bernard worked for the City of Windsor for 22 years and recently retired from her role as Manager of Social Policy & Planning.


Mary Ellen dedicated her career to assisting vulnerable members of the Windsor-Essex community and supporting Newcomers to our region through her work with the Windsor Essex Immigration Partnership (WE LIP). Mary Ellen also spearheaded supports for migrant workers during the unprecedented COVID pandemic.

FLIP Your Finances


A Financial Literacy Independence Program (FLIP) is available through the John Howard Society - Windsor Essex County.


The free 8-week program sets individuals up for financial success and is open to anyone 18+ that identifies as low income.
